The Moore County Chamber, in partnership with 91影视, Moore County Schools and Moore County Economic Development, will host the annual Talent Symposium on Friday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m. in Owens Auditorium at the Bradshaw Performing Arts Center. Registration and networking start at 8 a.m.
The symposium, titled "Leading with Employee Mental Health in Mind: Practical Strategies for Workplace Well-Being," will provide employers, managers, human resources professionals, nonprofit leaders and community stakeholders with practical tools to address one of today's most significant workforce challenges. Participants will gain insights into current workplace mental health trends, leadership strategies and actionable steps that can be immediately implemented within their organizations.
Guest speaker Dr. Marie-Line Germain, professor of human resources and leadership at Western Carolina University, is an award-winning author, researcher, workplace consultant and host of the Dear Human Resources podcast.
The leadership and workforce retention symposium is designed to help professionals build healthier, more productive and sustainable workplaces. Participants will develop a clearer understanding of leadership's role in supporting workplace well-being and explore the unique challenges facing today's workforce while developing a personalized workplace well-being action plan.
