24/7 Counseling Services - Student Assistance Program
Any enrolled SCC student can receive help for personal, professional, or school concerns through the Student Assistance Program (SAP). Students will be connected to a professional clinician from the first phone call.
Services are free, confidential, and available 24/7. We offer up to 3 sessions per issue for students and permanent household family members. Counseling is available by phone, virtually, or in person.

Suicide Prevention Training
The QPR one-hour Gatekeeper Training teaches you how to better recognize signs of suicide and support people in crisis. The training will cover the following topics:鈥
- How to Question, Persuade and Refer someone who may be suicidal鈥
- How to get help for yourself or learn more about preventing suicide鈥
- The common causes of suicidal behavior鈥
- The warning signs of suicide鈥
- How to get help for someone in crisis鈥
