Brighter Futures Therapy Services

Autism Support & Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) | Raeford, North Carolina

Brighter Futures Therapy Services is one of the region’s newest additions to the autism support community.

Founded by Krystal and Daniel Ghirardi—parents of a child with autism and longtime advocates for families in the Sandhills—the practice grew out of personal experience. After navigating inconsistent care and long waitlists, the Ghirardis set out to build the kind of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practice families deserve, one rooted in trust, connection, and individualized support.

Brighter Futures stands out for its family-first approach to care. The practice is a bilingual English-Spanish provider and designs individualized treatment plans based on each child’s real-life needs. The team also places a strong emphasis on staff development, creating an environment where learning, growth, and quality care go hand in hand.

Team members describe their days as full of movement, art, play, laughter, and hands-on learning. Services take place in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, and the practice’s new clinic space, allowing care to meet families where they are.

A major milestone is coming on January 10, 2026, when Brighter Futures opens its first clinic at 206 Southern Avenue in Raeford. The new space includes immersive rooms designed to mirror daily life, such as a doctor’s office, a bedroom setup, and a school environment. Each space was intentionally created to help children build confidence in everyday settings.

Brighter Futures is also helping open doors for students and jobseekers in the region. Krystal will teach the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course through Sandhills Community College, preparing future professionals for a growing and essential field.

The team takes pride in calling Raeford home, citing the community’s strong family values, military-connected population, and shared desire to help every child thrive. As they describe their journey, Brighter Futures has been “built with a purpose,” and they are just getting started.
